Meta description generator

Paste what's on your page and get five description drafts written from your own facts, each with a pixel-fit check.

0 / 6000

Your text is sent to an AI model (via Vercel AI Gateway) to write the drafts and is not stored by us. Up to 8 requests a minute.

drafts

Drafts appear here with a pixel check for each one. Nothing is sent until you press the button.

Always read drafts against the page before publishing: they should describe what is really there.

From draft to published description

  1. Pick the draft closest to the searcher's question, not the cleverest one.
  2. Check every claim. The model is told to use only your text, but you are the one who knows what the page says.
  3. Test the fit in the meta description checker, which shows desktop and phone.
  4. Drop it into your tags with the meta tag generator, which reuses it for Open Graph and X.

If the AI writer is busy or down, the rest of the site keeps working: every checker and generator on MetaTag Pro runs without it.

Questions

How does the meta description generator work?

Paste your page's text, optionally add the main topic and brand, and press the button. An AI model reads only what you pasted and writes five descriptions. Each one shows its character count and whether it is likely to fit two desktop lines.

Will AI-written descriptions hurt my SEO?

Google's concern is quality and accuracy, not who wrote the text. Use a draft as a starting point, check it describes the page truthfully, and edit it into your own voice.

Is my text stored?

No. The text is sent to the model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the drafts and is not saved by MetaTag Pro. Your form entries are kept in this browser's localStorage so they survive a reload; clear them from the privacy page.

What makes a good meta description?

An accurate, specific summary of the page written for the searcher: what they get, for whom, and the concrete details (price, date, place, author) that help them choose your result.
